As a Boulder-based ACT and CBT specialist, my mission is to provide effective, research-backed solutions for reducing suffering, increasing connection and helping people to create full, meaningful lives.

I have specialized in cognitive behavioral therapies (ACT and CBT) and couples therapy for over 20 years.  I have my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and I maintain a private practice in Boulder, Colorado working with adults.  I am also licensed to provide Telehealth in 42 states. My style is warm, authentic and practical.

CBT

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I help people identify the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behavior. CBT has been shown to be effective in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress & trauma, relationship distress and many other common concerns.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a cutting edge Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that has been shown to be effective for a wide variety of problems in over 1000 randomized controlled trials. As a specialist in ACT, I’d be happy to talk with you more about how it might help you with your particular concerns.

Telehealth/PSYPACT

Research suggests that Telehealth is an effective and efficient modality for psychotherapy. I have been working with clients by video for over 15 years and use an encrypted secure online portal designed specifically for psychotherapy.
